Not that this wood is really all that rare, but even a lot of Texans don't see much Texas Ebony. Rich brown with a subtle grain, this particular pen was finished only in wax so you'll feel the wood. Over time it will develop a patina that is all from your hand. Not as big as Texas, but not a small pen.
